Jan Visits Hout Bay


Hout Bay is the name of a coastal suburb of Cape Town.	It is located twenty kilometres south of the Central Business District of Cape Town.

Hout Bay offers spectacular views of the bay and boat rides to Duiker Island and around the Sentinel.	However, Yuka and I had already seen plenty of wild seals in Cape Town, thus the main attraction for us in Hout Bay was this seal that had been raised by some crazy local guy.

Here you have the local guy giving his seal a kiss, apparently he spent more than 10 years raising the seal to become accustomed to humans.	Most seals look very similar, I have no idea how they tell each other apart.
